Miiamilla is a museum where everyone plays! In this colourful building, originally constructed in 1937 as the main house of Kadriorg Children’s Park, children and families are offered a playful environment for experiencing and learning. While engaging in activities in the museum garden, visitors can learn gardening skills and develop a closer connection with nature.
OUR MISSION
The main goal of Miiamilla is to help make the world a place where we are considerate of other people, living beings, and nature. We set an example by:
- sharing kindness and empathy with everyone who visits us, believing that visitors will pass on kindness, care, and empathy wherever they go;
- being a joyful meeting place for children and families, offering memorable shared moments, full attention, and development through educational play;
- providing early childhood and primary school museum education that supports creativity, independent thinking, collaboration skills, the development of empathy, emotional intelligence, and social skills, and helps prevent bullying.
OUR VISION
By 2028, we aim to be a well-known and beloved meeting place among Estonian families, offering colourful experiences and engaging, playful activities for families with children of all ages. Through our environmentally conscious practices, we have earned the Green Museum recognition and provide creative, diverse, and curriculum-aligned educational programmes. Children’s Museum Miiamilla hosts a variety of hobby activities and organises meaningful family events.
