On the Free Museum Sunday, admission to the branches of Tallinn City Museum is free of charge, but visits must be booked in advance.

NB! Please note that not all rooms and exhibitions of each museum are open on every museum Sunday. You can find more detailed information on the booking page.

BOOK A FREE VISIT

  • Due to high interest, we kindly ask you to book your entry in advance to ensure a smooth visiting experience.
  • If you wish to visit several museums during the same day, please purchase a separate ticket for each museum for your desired time slot.
  • Tickets can be booked up to one month in advance. One person can book up to 10 tickets.
  • A ticket must be issued for each visitor, including children.
  • Free tickets can also be obtained from museum ticket offices before Museum Sunday.
  • If your plans change, please return your ticket. The number of tickets is limited, so this allows other visitors to have the opportunity to attend.

Visitor reminder

  • Backpacks and other large luggage are not allowed in exhibition spaces.
  • On Free Museum Sundays, the museum is open free of charge only for individual visitors; guided group visits are not accepted on that day.
  • The museum is not responsible for items left unattended.

Free Museum Sundays

Free Museum Sundays at Tallinn city owned museums take place on the first Sunday of every month, and on that day admission is free for all visitors.

Tallinn is among the European cities with the highest concentration of museums. Launched in March 2022, Free Museum Sundays aim bring attention the daily activities in museums, introduce the city’s rich cultural life, and improve the accessibility of it to both Tallinners and visitors.
