Kalamaja Bird Song Morning on 17 May at 7am

Kalamaja is wonderful in spring with gardens full of blossoming apple trees echoing with birdsong, and all bird enthusiasts have the opportunity to learn more about the birds nesting in Kalamaja with ornithologist Peep Veedla.

Lifelong teacher of ornithology and author of many bird books, Peep Veedla has been introducing bird songs to enthusiasts of all ages for decades. This time we stroll around the Kalamaja area and get acquainted with its winged residents. We are sure to hear some fun verses about birds from Peep, who has written them about more than a hundred species of birds. Besides studying bird songs, we will learn many things about birds as well as the relationships between birds and people.

 

The tour will start from the garden of Kalamaja Museum, Kotzebue 16, at 7am in the morning.
