MUSIC CLASSES FOR TODDLERS
Tuesdays at 11.15 a.m – 12.15 a.m

Music lessons for the youngest take place at the Children’s Museum Miiamilla, where we play, sing, dance, and listen together. These joyful sessions support children’s creativity, independence, and self-confidence. Singing also helps develop speech, expand vocabulary, and strengthen memory.

ART AND CREATIVITY CLASS
Thursdays at 4.30 p.m–5.30 p.m.
Age 1–3 years
Room: Miiamilla’s Education Room
Host: art and creativity teacher Christina Lään.
In the Creativity Class, even the youngest children create beautiful and authentic artwork. During the lessons, we explore different colours, exciting materials, the texture of canvas, gentle traditional songs, interesting sounds, and much more – all designed to support the development of children’s creativity.
Creative activities and music help develop toddlers’ coordination and support speech and language development. The Creativity Class is about discovering the world around us and making meaningful connections between different activities.
We use a wide range of natural materials and foods, encourage recycling, and work with child-friendly, safe paints and materials.
The price of a creativity lesson includes a one-hour museum visit on the same day. Please note the museum’s opening hours when planning your visit.
When coming to the Creativity Class:
Please bring a change of clothes that can get dirty, as well as a towel for your child’s washing-up needs. We also recommend bringing a larger apron or a spare set of clothes for yourself, so you can comfortably participate alongside your child.
