The museum also includes the underground\u00a0<strong>bastion passages<\/strong>\u00a0constructed in the late 17th century and the\u00a0<strong>Carved Stone Museum<\/strong>\u00a0they house.<\/p>\n<p>The museum showcases the city\u2019s historic fortifications, the homes built by townspeople along the wall and in its towers built at the end of the 18th century, the artists who lived in one of the towers, and the famous caf\u00e9 built in Maiden Tower in the 1980s.
