However, the museum\u2019s educational programmes and excursions in the Old Town will continue!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For more information, e-mail linnaelu@linnamuuseum.ee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Excursion in the Old Town: &#8220;On the trail of Viant the merchant&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\nWhat do we know about the people who lived in and ruled Tallinn in the Middle Ages?<br \/>\n500 years ago, the great merchant and burgomaster Hans Viant lived in the merchant\u2019s house that now bears the address Vene 17.\u00a0A tour of Tallinn City Life Museum offers excursions that focus on the former owner of the building, as well as exciting facts about day-to-day life in the Middle Ages.<br \/>\nThe tour starts in front of Viant\u2019s house, then continues through the Old Town, where we stroll along historic streets and visit the most important buildings in Viant\u2019s life. We end with a workshop in which everyone can design their own secret wealth talisman like Viant\u2019s own!<br \/>\nThe excursion lasts for 90 mins.<br \/>\nGroup size is 10-25 people.<br \/>\nThe price is \u20ac12 per participant, with no guide fee.<br \/>\nTours can be booked in Estonian, Russian or English.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cNaughty Tallinn\u201d: A \u2018sexcursion\u2019 to the Old Town<\/strong><br \/>\nThe sexual behaviour of Tallinn residents and prostitution in the city is examined from the 15th century through to the Second World War. We look at the intimate lives of the people of Tallinn through the ages, their desires and the taboos that accompanied them. We learn about the spices that went into love potions and some other naughty things.<br \/>\nThe excursion includes a workshop with hands-on activities.<br \/>\nThe excursion lasts for 90 mins.<br \/>\nThe group size is between 10 and 30 people.<br \/>\nThe price is \u20ac15 per participant, with no guide fee.<br \/>\nTours can be booked in Estonian, Russian or English.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Naughty Tallinn takes on Mardi Street&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\nThis tour focuses on the history of prostitution in the 19th and early 20th centuries,<br \/>\nwhen Mardi Street and the Keldrim\u00e4e district as a whole became a new hotspot for debauchery.
