The exhibition combines collage, spatial installation and animation, bringing together shifted references to Kalamaja\u2019s industrial history and possible visions of the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is a humorous and at the same time sadly festive cross product of fairy tales, puns and bitter imagery. Yesterday, today and tomorrow, a stalled and an accelerated moment in time, are present at once.<\/span><\/p>\n

All visitors are invited to play this board game.<\/span><\/p>\n

The installation reuses found materials, artworks and leftovers from previous exhibitions of the Tallinn City Museum and –> Arrowgroup.<\/span><\/p>\n

The artists are members of the art community on Vana-Kalamaja Street.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013> Arrowgroup (\u2013> Noolegrupp in Estonian) is an art group operating since 2004, consisting of Triinu J\u00fcrves (b. 1974) and Villem Jahu (b. 1985).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013> Arrowgroup\u2019s works are mostly installations or performative environments and objects used to visualise a figuratively addressed topic or problem. Often using video or sound art, the aim is always to create a site-specific solution with a clean and clear image. In most cases, the group\u2019s work is interactively inclusive or relates to public space. \u2013> Arrowgroup is no stranger to humour and often uses multilayered cultural references.<\/span>
\n<\/span>The list of exhibitions includes 15 solo exhibitions and more than 40 joint projects, group exhibitions and performances in Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Germany, Slovakia, France and the UK.<\/span><\/p>\n
