Come and celebrate Republic of Estonia’s Independence Day with Tallinn City Museum! Meet the Three Lions, go to tours and participate in workshops. The family day will begin at 8:00 in the morning and last until 15:00. It will all take place in Kiek in de K\u00f6k Fortifications Museum.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Maiden Tower cafe at the same time will offer a special menu in the honor of independence day.
\nEnglish language tour will begin at 13:00. Participation in the tour is with the museum ticket.<\/p>\n

8:00 – 15:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

The checkouts in Kiek in de K\u00f6k and Maiden Tower are open. Special menu in the Maiden Tower caf\u00e9: \u201cPatriots mash, generals sandwich and kissell.<\/p>\n

9:00 – 15:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

Caf\u00e9 is open at the top floor of Kiek in de K\u00f6k. Workshops and games for the whole family: face paintings, making of flags, answer to pop quiz questions and get lion stamps on your question sheet.<\/p>\n

10:00 – 12:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

At Kiek in de K\u00f6k’s weapons room, historian Ando Pajus, will introduce weapons that were made in Tallinn Arsenal factory. Modern weapons will be introduced by T\u00f5nis Orumaa (in Estonian, English and Russian).<\/p>\n

11:00 – 15:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

Open-air caf\u00e9 in the Commandant’s Garden. Visitors arriving from the parade will be served pea soup and pie.<\/p>\n

12:00 \u2013 15:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shooting practice with a simulator on the weapons floor in Kiek in de K\u00f6k.<\/p>\n

At 13:00 – 15:00<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the Bastion passages shooting practice with an air rifle. Instructors are from Tondi shooting range.<\/p>\n
