The curator is Taavi Veiler. The exhibition is open from 8 February 2018 until February 2019. The exhibitions include museum lessons, audience programmes and a catalogue.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><b>Kiek in de K\u00f6k:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u00a0photography exhibition\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u201c<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><b>From Heinaturg to Freedom Square<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u201d.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u00a0The exhibition includes one hundred photographs, the oldest of which dates back to late 19<\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">th<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> century when Heinaturg (hay market) was located by the Harju Gate. Photographs of the events that have taken place on Freedom Square during the past 150 years give museum visitors a sense of how our country was built through public demonstrations and parades, occupations and liberations, as well as through war and reconstruction.\u00a0The exhibition will be opened on 15 February 2018 and closed on 29 October 2018. Opening on 12 April.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">MAY 2018<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><b>Medieval merchant\u2019s house of Tallinn City Museum:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u00a0annual exhibition\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><b>\u201cOne hundred years of the day-to-day<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u201d<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">. What have the past one hundred years been like from the aspect of everyday life? How has the city changed? How did people receive news and communicate, move around and entertain themselves?\u00a0The exhibition juxtaposes the ten cross-sectional years of 1918\u20132008. The exhibition will be opened on 11 May 2018 and closed in June 2019.<br \/>\nThe exhibition includes museum lessons, a lecture series in autumn and a children\u2019s conference in November.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><b>Tallinn Russian Museum<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">:\u00a0exhibition <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u201c<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><b>Yacht Standart and the family of the last Emperor of Russia<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u201d.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> This exhibition by ROSPHOTO (Saint Petersburg) is based on memories and the photo archive of Second Captain N. V. Sablin, who served on the yacht during the years of 1906\u20131916. A. K. Jagelski\u2019s photos and unique film chronicle depict the personal lives of the imperial family. The exhibition will be open from 4 May until 30 June 2018.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a> <span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">Renewed exposition of the <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><b>Museum of Photography<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">:\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><b>solitary cell of the old town jail<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">. Artists Andres Tenusaar, and Taavi and Holger Loodus. We will tell exciting stories that are based on old court cases of the 15<\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">th<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> to 16<\/span><\/span><sup><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">th<\/span><\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"> century, preserved in the city archives.\u00a0The exposition includes technical solutions, which in turn introduce the development of photography. Opening on 15 May.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">JUNE 2018<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><b>Kiek in de K\u00f6k:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u00a0annual exhibition\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u201c<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><b>Water of Tallinn. History of water supply in Tallinn<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u201d<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">. Clean drinking and domestic water is crucial for the development of cities. The exhibition \u201cWater of Tallinn\u201d tells the story of water consumption and supply in Tallinn throughout centuries. Visitors can observe old wooden and tin water pipes, water sieves and much more, as well as learn why the residents of the city drank so much beer. The curator is archaeologist Villu Kadakas. The exhibition will be opened on 15 June 2018 and closed in summer 2019.\u00a0The exhibition is prepared in cooperation with AS Tallinna Vesi and it includes educational and audience programmes.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">JULY 2018<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\"><b>House of Peter the Great:<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u00a0Kadriorg 300. Renewal of the permanent exposition and excursions in the park.
