If you book at least three museum classes in different branches of the Tallinn City Museum for the same class\/group at the same time during one school year, the price for each museum class is 4 euros per participant.
\nThe discount is based on a visitor card, which you can obtain from the museum\u2019s cash desk during the first hour.
\nPlease note! You must carry the visitor card with you on each visit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

About Fishes and Houses<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The tour takes you around the museum house, telling the story of the inhabitants and the houses of Tallinn\u2019s oldest suburb.
\nWe will see how we feel about the fish in our sea and see if we dare to taste any of them. We will also see when and why Kalamaja started to turn into a densely populated suburb from a village. We will get acquainted with the legend of Old Thomas, Tallinn\u2019s most famous weathervane, and design a paper costume for him, either in realistic or fashionable colours.<\/p>\n

Kalamaja Children\u2019s Tour<\/strong><\/h4>\n

introduces the history of Kalamaja and Tallinn in a playful way.
\nHow was Kalamaja named? What activities have occurred in this area?
\nWhat characterises the architecture of Kalamaja? What was and is life like for local children?

The aim is to get to know, appreciate and care for the urban nature around us.

\nWhich animals and birds live in Kalamaja (and Tallinn)?
\nDo we know the animals and birds living in our garden?
\nIs Kalamaja a good place for urban nature and how can we preserve the nature of our city?

Kalamaja Ghost Tour<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Are there ghosts in Kalamaja? What are the scariest and creepiest places?
\nWhat stories and legends come from and are related to Kalamaja?
\nMany true ghost stories have been told by the elderly residents of Kalamaja.
\nStart in front of Kalamaja Museum, 16\u00a0Kotzebue Street, ends at Kalamaja Cemetery Park.
\nThe tour is suitable for the whole family and lasts about 1.5 hours.<\/p>\n

City Tour of the Lost Fragments of Kalamaja<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Follows the locations of the outdoor photo stands at the following addresses: Vana-Kalamaja 7, Malmi 8, Valgevase 14, Kalju 7, Kalju 2\/Soo 31, Soo 42, Uus-Kalamaja 9, Kungla 53, Noole 5, K\u00f6ie 5, K\u00f6ie 1a, Soo 11. Stands at Kungla 13 and T\u00f5llu 7 can be discovered later independently.
\nYou can hear stories shared with the museum about local life and events, both in the pre-war republic and during the Soviet era.
\nYou will also be able to see photos from family albums that could not be included in the exhibition.

Kalamaja in 1927<\/strong><\/h4>\n

On our city tour, we head to the streets of Kalamaja along the paths of last autumn\u2019s outdoor exhibition \u201cWhere Even Sunrays Will Not Reach\u201d.
\nWe take a look at photojournalist Hans Soosaar\u2019s series of images of the meagre living conditions in P\u00f5hja-Tallinn taken in the 1920s and travel back in time to 90 years ago. What was life like in the basement flats? What troubled and delighted the residents of Kalamaja at the time?
